Student Support Initiatives

Driven by our commitment to uplift and empower communities, Avoir actively partners with schools in the areas where our clients operate. Through these collaborations, we have introduced and supported feminine hygiene product drives that restore dignity to young girls who face barriers in accessing essential sanitary products.

By addressing period poverty, we not only meet an urgent need but also strengthen long‑term wellbeing, school attendance, and confidence among young women. This initiative forms a key part of our broader Corporate Social Responsibility and wellness mandate—ensuring that no girl’s education, health, or dignity is compromised due to a lack of basic resources.

Wellness Programmes

The wellbeing of our clients’ employees remains a central pillar of Avoir’s Corporate Social Responsibility mandate. We recogn that a healthy workforce is the foundation of strong organisational performance.

As a responsible medical aid broker, our commitment extends beyond benefit administration. We actively promote healthy living and support the holistic wellbeing of our members by creating opportunities for education, early detection, and proactive health management.

To fulfil this mandate, we implement a range of wellness activities designed to inform, inspire, and empower employees. These initiatives encourage healthier lifestyle choices, increase awareness of preventable conditions, and foster a workplace culture where wellbeing is prioritised and sustained.

Mandela Day Commemoration

Each year, Avoir honours the legacy of Nelson Mandela by dedicating our time, resources, and compassion to initiatives that uplift the communities we serve. Guided by the belief that “it is in our hands to make a difference,” we work alongside schools, community organisations, and local stakeholders to drive meaningful and sustainable change.

Our Mandela Day activities often include donating essential items, supporting dignity‑restoration initiatives, and participating in wellness and educational programmes that empower young people and families. Through these efforts, we continue to extend Mandela’s spirit of service — strengthening communities, restoring hope, and contributing to a future where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.

Community Upliftment Initiatives

Avoir Corporate Health proudly supports wellness, charity, and sporting initiatives across the country. Our commitment to building healthier communities extends beyond the workplace, reaching into programmes that promote physical wellbeing, social upliftment, and shared responsibility.

One of the flagship events we participate in is the Bakwena Walk 4 Charity — a powerful platform that unites individuals and organisations in raising awareness and support for health‑related and community‑focused causes. Our annual involvement reflects Avoir’s dedication to encouraging active lifestyles, strengthening community engagement, and contributing to charitable efforts that create meaningful, lasting impact.
