We would like to take this time to say thank you to all our members for their on-going support. South Africa is currently on lockdown. IFC is still operating but, for their safety, our staff members are working remotely during this time. Please see the contact details below.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t cancel medical aid during the pandemic!<\/h4>\n

We understand this is a difficult period for businesses and individuals financially.<\/p>\n

However, we strongly advise members NOT to cancel their medical scheme cover during this time.<\/p>\n

Avoid landing up in a government hospital, where hygiene will not be as controlled as in a private hospital or facility.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s also very important to know that if you cancel your current membership and reapply at a later stage, the medical scheme you join will be allowed to impose waiting periods, exclusions, and late joiner penalties.<\/p>\n

Many years ago, I worked for my parents who own a video production company. Because it is a family business, you inevitably end up wearing many hats and being the czar of many different jobs. I mainly managed projects and worked as a video editor. On production, there were times that I was called on to work as an audio tech and was made to wear headphones on long production days.
