In the words of Nelson Mandela “Without education your children can never really meet the challenges they will face. So, it’s very important to give children education and explain that they should play a role for their country.”
We continued our work at Lesedi Secondary School in partnership with Lagab Financial Service and other service providers.
The school is located in the Donkerhoek Community near Mamelodi East in Pretoria East. Lesedi is committed to the Department of Basic Education vision of quality teaching and learning and strive to instil the culture of learning through their motto “Enter to learn, Live to serve.”
Avoir Corporate Healthcare sponsored the school with 10 chairs and donated 42 lunch boxes and 12 bags of oranges for the Mandela Day.
In closing we would like to say “Give children a healthy start in life, no matter where they are born or the circumstance of their birth, is their moral obligation of every one of us.”
